Pastor Ken came to Bucks Church in December of 1998. Back then, it was comprised of only a few families that met in an old barn converted to a community center. Since that time, we have made great strides in defining our purpose as a church and pursuing that purpose to strategically reach our community with the Gospel. Pastor Ken’s gifts and ministry experience are diverse and have enabled Bucks to grow and become an established, thriving ministry in our community.

With an extensive background in both church ministry and executive business management, Pastor Rich has a unique set of gifts and experience which enable him to lead our Community Life and Care ministries. His role includes getting to know and understand the congregation along with guiding them to spiritual maturity. As such, he provides oversight, development, and leadership to various ongoing small groups. This includes leading the Young Adults ministry with his wife, Val. Additionally, he provides biblical guidance and pastoral care to the congregation as needs arise.

Karen Miller founded the “Women of Worth” ministry in 2000, driven by a passion to mentor women in growing their faith and identity in Christ. As a wife, mother of six, grandmother of eight, and ministry partner alongside husband, Pastor Ken Miller, she understands the challenges women face. Karen holds degrees in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies from Cairn University. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, quilting, cooking, traveling, and especially gathering her family together.

Dan oversees youth ministry at Bucks Church, helping students grow in their faith and experience the power of the gospel in their everyday lives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and Theology from Calvary Chapel University. Dan and his wife, Lydia, have four children and have loved calling Bucks County home for the past eight years.

Rebecca Benjamin has served as Music & Worship Ministries Director since 2009, bringing her lifelong passion for music and worship to Bucks Church. Beyond her role here, she teaches at Calvary Christian Academy and Cairn University, leads worship at retreats, and maintains a private music studio. With degrees in Bible, Music Education, and a Master’s in Education from Cairn, Rebecca partners with her husband Blair in ministry while raising their six children. Her desire is that all she does glorifies God through worship.

Rachael Booth has served as Children’s Ministry Director since 2018, bringing 15 years of teaching and coordination experience. With a degree in Bible and Education from Cairn University, she leads a ministry focused on helping children build their relationship with God. The children’s program covers the entire Bible over a three-year cycle, partnering with parents in nurturing their children’s faith. A homeschool teacher to her four children, Rachael brings her love of crafts, sewing, reading, and nature into her ministry as well.

Ron Cookson oversees our church facilities, managing building maintenance, coordinating improvements, and ensuring our campus serves the congregation effectively. He joined Bucks Church in February 2020, bringing extensive leadership experience from 26 years of service in the Marine Corps and 17 years as a Marine Corps Junior ROTC Instructor at Bensalem High School. His dedication and attention to detail help maintain our church home as a welcoming environment for ministry.

As Office Manager, Lisa Kovitch coordinates daily church operations, supports ministry leaders, and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for our congregation. Her organizational abilities and warm personality help keep our church running smoothly. A Langhorne resident, Lisa and her husband Tim treasure time with their two married children and growing family of grandchildren.

Anne Evans keeps our church facilities clean and welcoming for all who enter. She joined the Bucks Church staff in 2008 as part-time office manager following a 35-year career teaching first grade in Bensalem Township School District. Now serving as custodian, Anne’s attention to detail and caring spirit help maintain our church as a beautiful space for worship and ministry.

Julie O’Brien coordinates our CARE Ministry, which provides practical and spiritual support to those facing life’s challenges. Since 2018, she has helped create an environment of caring by connecting needs with resources and mobilizing volunteers to serve our church family. A Cairn University graduate, Julie attends with her husband Danny and their two children, whom she homeschools. Her compassionate spirit enriches both her ministry and family life.

Annemarie has worked as a bookkeeper since 2014 and started at Bucks Church in 2020. She and her husband, Mike, love being outside–whether it’s hiking, biking, or just relaxing on the deck. As bookkeeper, Annemarie helps support the church’s mission by stewarding financial responsibilities with care.
